Midface Lift
Back
When
early jowling and submental fat begins to detract from the youthfulness
of a face, a miniface lift can offer a less invasive option than
the traditional face and or neck lifts provide.
Process:
With mild sedation, incisions are made in front of and behind the
ears, and just below the chin. Fat removal and suspention of the
facial musculature allows for a natural improvement in the jawline
and upper neck.
Recovery:
A dressing is worn for 1 week after surgery until sutures are removed.
Swelling and brusing are usually minimal and most people return
to work after 7 days. Scars generally fade nicely after about 6
weeks.
Results:
A minilift is an excellent less invasive option for early to mid
signs of facial laxity; particularly for those who desire less down
time and wish to avoid “major” surgical procedures.
