Blepharoplasty

Back

Have you ever noticed that you have a perpetually tired look on your face? Perhaps the eyelids look puffy and droopy. Eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty can be performed to remove the excess fat and loose skin.

Process: Small incisions are made either from the inside of the eyelid or within the folds of the eyelids to tighten and open up the eye area.

Recovery: This procedure is done on an outpatient basis and recovery is relatively quick. There is usually little discomfort following eyelid surgery. Bruising and swelling usually subside within 7-10 days and most people return to normal activities of living within one week. The resulting scars follow the natural contour of the eyes and will gradually fade.

Result: Patients have reported that this procedure seems to improve their entire face by restoring the "glitter" in their eyes and giving them a "more lively" appearance.
